The New Playhouse!

A new playhouse arrived on June 25th compliments of the Merrifield Garden Center staff. The kids saw it & ran right to it. I thought it would be fun for everyone to see how excited the kids were to play in it, so I finally got a video uploaded & posted for all to see.

Beautiful children. I know you are having fun learning to incorporate them in to your house. It must be a huge change to have three all of a sudden. I can’t imagine. Sounds like you are doing a great job Mom and Dad. Enjoy. God has blessed you greatly.

Love the update. They are so cute together.

So cute, Nick & Polly!! It’s great to read the update — thanks for posting again. Also glad to see the boys have been able to wear some of the shirts we brought over. I was worried that they might be too small already. We’ve been thinking of and praying for you a lot these past few weeks. Dan can’t wait to get together with Nick — but, we know you all have your hands full so whatever works for you is fine, Nick. Our lives are more sane and much more flexible nowadays. We’re looking forward to meeting your family sometime soon. We’ve told our boys about your children and they’re looking forward to meeting them as well.

It is sad in some ways to see the Russian go. However, it’s wonderful to be able to communicate with them — in any language. My favorite phrase that Peter used to say was “Kto tam?” (Who’s there?). He said it all of the time when we first adopted him and although I love that they speak English so well now, I kind of miss their Russian baby talk. They don’t remember any of it anymore. Maybe some day they’ll have an interest in learning it again. I guess time will tell.

Again, we are so thrilled for you and continue to pray for all of you!

    Love & prayers,
    Melanie, Dan, Luke & Peter

It just occurred to me to see if your blog was still up and running. What fun to read the posts since you came back! I got to remember those days not so long ago and see how you and Nick and the children perceived the re-entry.

It was a real blessing to see those happy children with their new play house; how smart you are to videotape they way they are “now” for the day when they have moved on way past.

I echo Tammy who said “Way to care for your beautiful family, Mom and Dad!”

    Lots of love,
    The Elliotts
